The June Motel, Sauble Beach

With so much uncertainty about traveling David and I in the beginning of 2021 booked a few road trip get aways. One of them being The June Motel - Sauble Beach location. They actually opened up during the middle of Covid in 2020! I can't wait to hear all the details in their upcoming Netflix show 'Motel Makeover'.

I didn't know what to expect, but upon arrival I got all the vacation vibes I so badly missed. They were even accommodating for families with young children! It was a perfect getaway that our oldest son still talks about and refers to as "the beach house".

As a designer I definitely choose vacations/stays that inspire me and the hotel is always a huge part of the experience. This lobby did not disappoint! Amazing how impressive it is considering it's a small space!

We weren't able to book a room with two beds so we brought a little cot with us so we could all sleep comfortably :P

The room was super cute and full of fun little details + even gifts!

The umbrellas are from 'Business + Pleasure', they added the cutest retro touch.

A very appropriate 'Sundays' shirt by Oak + Fort. Just the coolest dad!

Heydays (restaurant next door) offered drinks for the kids in 'Mika Mave' cups, which made me so happy.

Off to beach! There is parking all along the beach, making it very accessible. To speed up the experience, make sure to add the MacKay Pay app to pay for parking from your phone!

Pure Joy! We love this beach, super family friendly. The water isn't too cold and the sand is really nice!

Beach toys are from Zara Home + Beach People.

We love our beach mat from 'Base Baby'! It's perfect for indoor and outdoor play! The waffle blanket is also a fav and must have from 'Mallino' bought at Little Minimalist.

Liam was sleeping in our 'Veer' tent, while these two were sleeping side by side. Leoni was wearing the hat that both her brothers have worn and loved. Its from 'Atilla + Co' in Vintage Olive that you can buy at 'Little Minimalist'. Definitely brought a tear to my eye!

Overall, if you are living in the Ontario or Quebec region I definitely recommend going to check out The June Motel. Both locations are gorgeous, they just have a different vibe (Beach vs. Lake). If you have any questions feel free to DM me!
