Bõhêm Charlevoix

Part two: Birthday Getaway

This cabin was 25 minutes away from Villa Boréale but provided a different feel and some new scapes!

Bõhêm Charlevoix can accommodate 10 people comfortably, it has 4 bedrooms/7 beds, and 3.5 baths. It is fully equipped and spotless! Each room has a breathtaking view of the St. Lawrence River and is surrounded by beautiful trees. This stay is perfect for relaxing in and around the cabin but the area has so much available for exploring as well. This cabin has a hot tub, fire pit, indoor/outdoor terrace, bbq, and hammocks! You can tell that this place was very thoughtfully built and the hosts Isabelle and Anael ensured that it felt like home.

We pulled up and were extremely excited to get in!

How gorgeous is this exterior?

As soon as you enter the front door you notice the beautiful open concept surrounded by wall to wall windows looking over the river.

My parents found their favourite spot almost immediately!

On the other side was the gorgeous kitchen that had everything you can possibly need for cooking home cooked meals. Brand new plates, cutlery and appliances.

They have personalized glasses, which really shows the attention to detail.

I just love the logo and branding down to the smallest details.

Upstairs you have a little office nook, 2 bedrooms, 2 baths, and 2 hanging hammock chairs with a spectacular view. Here is the first bedroom:

They really created beautiful spaces to enjoy these big windows and views.

Staircase going to and from the main floor.

The basement is a walk-out but you would never know it was the basement otherwise. This is where the access to the hot tub/outdoor hammock is. This living space has a TV complete with Nintendo, and some board games.

Right across is a foosball table which we were definitely excited about. My father and I used to play growing up and it gets competitive to say the least.

There are 4 good sized beds in this bunk room that are located right next to another bathroom.

This bedroom is also located in the basement, has a queen bed and the best waffle sheets!

Gorgeous shiplap wall detail!

I got spoiled with coffee in bed every morning (it issssss my bday 'week' after all hehe).

Woke up to this sweet face!

We couldn't believe our eyes when it started to snow!

Mattias was way more excited about the snow than I was.

We were not prepared for the snow, however it made for some magical photos!

Snow didn't stop us from enjoying the outdoors!

Isabelle and Anael gave great recommendations of things to do/see in the area. However we didn't pack for the cold weather that came by surprise. We will definitely come back to visit the trails and waterfall but this time we wanted to do something quick and fun with the kiddos.

We went to the Alpaca Farm that was 10 minutes away. Unfortunately Liam passed out right away but luckily Mattias got to see them. Visit their website here.

How cute are they?!?

Not sure who was having more fun!

It was so nice to come home, turn on the fireplace and drink some hot (decaf) coffee and admire the scenery. With this view it never felt like we were missing out on the outdoors.

So thankful for my parents coming with us because it gave us some alone time.

Really taking advantage of being pregnant!

My everything!

We had such a wonderful stay and can't wait to come back!

I definitely recommend visiting Bõhêm Charlevoix and think that it would be the perfect stay all year round. So thankful to have places like this to visit during these COVID global travel restrictions. It was a wonderful birthday, a wonderful vacation and wonderful long lasting memories.

Until next time!
