PROJECT REVEAL
Mississauaga, Ontario

Designing children’s spaces is one of my favourite parts of the job. There’s something meaningful about creating a room that feels special today and continues to evolve with them over time. For this project, soft neutrals, warm wood tones, and a calming blue palette set the tone. The subtle plaid wallpaper added a classic Ivy-League-meets-sports aesthetic - refined, timeless, and still perfectly childlike.
We called this project Little Legend: a space meant to feel calm, confident, and just the right amount of sporty. Soft blues, quiet plaids, and varsity-prep details give the whole space a cozy, collegiate charm (minus the textbooks).
Our goal was to create a room he can truly grow with - playful at seven, effortless at seventeen. Finding that balance between fun and polished is what makes Little Legend feel so special. Thoughtful storage was also key; kids this age are discovering what they love, and their collections tend to multiply quickly. We designed solutions that blend right into the aesthetic, keeping everything serene yet functional.
A place for building forts, imagining big wins, and drifting off under soft, layered textures that make the room feel warm and grounded. A space where his personality can shine, and where a future legend gets his start.
