I was super emotional designing this space but I wanted to make it fun for my growing boy!
When we found out that we were having another boy we decided to keep the nursery as is for Liam and in the connecting room design a space for Mattias. I loved the idea of the boys sharing a bathroom but it also meant I wanted the rooms to compliment each other. As most of you know I love green and I wanted to carry that accent colour. I came across this wall paper from Chasing Paper called Palm Springs by: Jen Peters and immediately fell in love. It was definitely the starting point for this room especially since it also carried over the west coast vibes from the nursery.

Mattias Jonathan, the one who made me a mother! Motherhood is a constant state of holding on, and at the same time letting go. Can't believe he has his own big boy bed and that he had zero problems with the transition. Makes this mama so proud, yet so sad (haha)! Our bedtime routine ends with me laying down and cuddling even after he has been asleep for some time.
